Additional computer disposal requirements in the following T8 CCR Safety Order Sections address specific industries:
Construction—Section 1509;
Petroleum—Sections 6507, 6508,6509, 6760, 6761, 6762; Ship Building, Ship Repairing, Ship Breaking—Section 8350; and
Tunnels—Section 8406.
It’s the Law!
Your business no matter the size must have a written Illness and Injury Prevention Plan. I f you have more than 9 employees you must have this plan. OSHA writes violations constantly for companies that do not comply with this regulation.
What is an IIPP? An IIPP lays the foundation of your company’s safety program it labels persons responsible for processing safety issues and describes your accident investigation procedure. It is a must have if you wish to protect your company’s future. The IIPP covers the following items:
bullet Management commitment/assignment of responsibilities;
bullet Safety communications system with employees;
bullet System for assuring employee compliance with safe work practices;
bullet Scheduled inspections/evaluation system;
bullet Accident investigation;
bullet Procedures for correcting unsafe/ unhealthy conditions;
bullet Safety and health training and instruction; and
bullet Recordkeeping and documentation.
Pacific Coast Safety & Training can prepare an IIPP specific to your company and then train you and your employees on how to use it. Do not get caught without this program it is the first thing an OSHA inspector will ask for during a site visit. Call us today
