HeartSaver CPR/AED and First Aid
Heartsaver CPR for All Ages: Teaches CPR and relief of Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction in the adult, infant, and child. Also teaches the student how to recognize the 4 major emergencies: Heart Attack, Stroke, Cardiac Arrest, and Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction. Teaches CPR and relief of Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction for the adult. Also teaches the student how to recognize the 4 major emergencies: Heart Attack, Stroke, Cardiac Arrest, and Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction. Heartsaver CPR for Infants and Children: Teaches CPR and relief of Foreign-Body Airway Obstruction for infants (birth to 1 year of age) and children (1 year to 8 years of age). Frist Aid topis include; course includes General Principles, Medical Emergencies, and Injury Emergencies. For added time and an extra cost you may add electives to the course. The electives you may choose from are: CPR, AED, and/or Environmental Emergencies.

First Responder
Breathing and Cardiac Emergencies in adults and children. Identifying and caring for bleeding, sudden-illnesses, injuries and preventing disease transmission. Healthy lifestyles and prevention. Includes and introduction to Automated External Defibrillation and uses of supplemental oxygen.

EMT Basic
This course couples didactic training with hands on EMS skills to give a solid head start in the Emergency Medical field. Designed to prepare personnel to render pre-hospital basic life support services, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, with emphasis on field application, practices, and techniques vital to the interaction of EMT-I personnel with all levels of emergency medical personnel.

Emergency Care of the Sick and Injured
A manipulative and technical training course in emergency care procedures, including: Examining the victim, observing surrounds, determining case histories, maintaining an airway, performing resuscitation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, controlling bleeding, treating cerebrovascular injuries, treating shock, treating seizures, childbirth, performing manual lifts and carries, and improvising and arranging transportation. This course meets present public safety emergency care requirements for fire service personnel.

EMT Instructor Training
The instructor orientation workshop is designed to prepare EMS trainers to deliver EMT-I training classes. Topics of discussion include the state approved EMT-I curriculum, statutes and regulations governing EMT-I programs, OSFM policies and procedures, and review of instructional techniques and classroom management. Teaching demonstrations are required of all participants.
