Every year, more than 4 million children age 14 and under are injured in the home. That’s why the National Safety Council designed BLAST. This new program teaches kids age 11-15 to be responsible babysitters – and to look after their own safety.
BLAST is fun to take and fun to teach. It takes a old computer disposal contemporary approach to training that appeals to young adults. If you want your babysitter or child to learn BLAST, you can simply purchase the program on CD-ROM. This interactive PC-based program is as entertaining as it is informative. It features a unique virtual house tour that invites kids to identify common home used computer disposal safety hazards and explains how to correct them.
The program includes a handy, fun-to-read student manual that’s easy for sitters to take along on jobs for quick reference.
